We had the pleasure to photograph Jennifer and Dean’s wedding 20/04/2012 .
Dean hails originally from Hull , whilst Jennifer is a Limerick lady.
I knew Jennifer’s mum Joan from my days working as an engineer in Analog Devices Limerick.
This was a very convenient wedding indeed as both the bride and groom were starting out only
a short distance apart so we could accomodate two morning house calls.
I think its great to get the two house calls in as the lads tend not to be the main focus of the day.
They were married in Raheen Church just a short drive from the studio and reception was at Bunratty
Castle hotel , which is always so popular with Limerick couples.
The windy drive up to the hotel is great to photograph at this time of year with its leafy tree lined appearance.
Weather was a bit of a mixed bag on the day but we had some great photo opportunity and a little luck
along the way .
We stayed until speeches and first dance which really gives great material for the couples album .
Thanks to both families who were so nice to deal with on the day and thanks to the staff at Bunratty castle hotel.

March 31st was Laura and Brendans big day. Weather all week was just fantastic and on the day itself , while it was dry it was just that bit overcast giving beautiful soft lighting conditions . We travelled to Tullamore to cover the wedding , starting at Laura’s house. Just as well as I asked for someone to meet with me and take me to Lauras house and back to the church – I must admit this is the best thing to do when you are unfamiliar with the surrounds.
Laura looked fantastic on the day and after the cermony we headed to Charleville House nearby with the bridal party.
Must say this provided great photographic opportunity for a wedding with its highly ornate decor plaster ceilings and broad staircases .
Never amazes me as to how quickly the day goes by as we pushed on to The Bridge Water Hotel for the reception . Special thanks to the staff as they afforded us plenty of time for further photographs . Anyway congratulations again Laura and Brendan !

Congratulations to Cathy and Francis – just started my edits and will add many more images as I progress.
The couple were married at Manister Co.Limerick on a very wet and windy December day with reception at The Woodlands Adare.

Congratulations to Regina and Derek – oh yeah and not forgetting Alfie !
The couple were married last week in Kilmallock with reception at the Charleville Park Hotel.
I always say St.Peter and Paul’s Kilmallock is such a wonderful church to photograph a wedding in.
Most of the shoot was indoor as weather was biting cold although we could not complain too much as it stayed dry.
Lowel i.d. light was invaluable for this winter wedding , it really transforms your available lighting options.
I also love the warmth in colour it lends to images – it is essential in my photography kit .
It was also great to photograph the boys first in the morning as well as doing brides house along with full and extended coverage to first dance.
I always feel I have covered absolutely everything on extended coverage weddings , only thing is that it leaves a big editing job for the photographer !

Congratulations to Mary and Edmund married at Loughill Co.Limerick with reception in The Strand Hotel Limerick.
It was great to get as much coverage on the day as we incorporated the hair and makeup salon , groom and bride house calls etc.
The father of the bride is a Tipperary man and avid hurling supporter as is evident from some of the images and
we were treated to an impromtu display of hurling technique at Marys house !
We ducked the rainclouds to get our photographs on the day especially when we got to Curraghchase with the bridal party.
Persistence paid off and we got some really nice images.
Special thanks to the very helpful staff at The Strand who were flexible in starting mealtime to allow us finish all the photography.
The Strand Hotel always lends itself to great photo opportunity.

August 13th saw us travelling to Westport Co.Mayo to cover the wedding of Vanessa and Mike.
The wedding took place in Westport Country Lodge Hotel and additional photography was done in
the magnificent Westport House.
This was our first time photographing here and to be honest we could have photographed all day
if we had the time ! Absolutely wonderful for photography.

Just thought I will pop up a few images from Grainne and Senans wedding.
The couple were married in the magnificent St.John’s Cathedral with reception in The Savoy Hotel Limerick.
The wedding had a very city look to it so I decided to photograph it with a more edgy approach.
